Shepperton Classic Fords
Next Meeting: TBC.
The first “Shepperton Classic Fords” meeting took place on the , I took a chance in organising it as I had never done a one-make show before.
We were blessed with good weather and in the end, a brilliant turnout of vehicles. As you’ll see from the photos, we had everything from pre-war Fords to 1970's and 1980's cars, from both sides of the pond!
One of my personal favourites was the 1958 V8 Pilot, enjoying its' first outing in twelve months, there was a good selection of Mustangs through the years, from early Coupés to a Mach 1.
On the British side we had everything from Zephyrs to Anglias and Cortinas (mark Ⅰ & Ⅱ), Escorts (marks Ⅰ, Ⅱ & Ⅲ), Capris and Granada.
Over the course of the morning we must have welcomed nearly 50 cars, which was excellent for a first meeting. My thought was that this would be a one‐off meeting for this year but so many people asked when the next one will be that I think I'll organise another for later in the year, maybe early October when the weather is still OK. So make sure you bookmark the site, the next date will be announced in just a few weeks.
All the best,
